The Merc is the local home for music, visual art and more!
The Madison Arts Council meets at The Merc and uses their space to highlight local emerging artists!
Dedicated to local writers Robert Bly and Carol Bly, we celebrate their contributions to the literary world and we encourage new writers to use this room for reflection and inspiration.
The Richter Room
Dedicated to local artist Franz Richter, who had his last retrospective show at the Merc in November 2022 before his unexpected passing just a few months later.
Named after a local donor, the 'Stad Stage hosts open mic, trivia nights, musical acts and local theater...and whomever else wanders in!
Resident Artist Studios
Three artist studio spaces are currently in the facility layout. Artist Mary Boylan uses one space, a local youth group inhabits another and the third is currently open and waiting for its muse!
The Anderson Gallery
Artist Janice Anderson donated nearly 100 pieces to our gallery. We honor her by displaying her work throughout the building.
