The Madison Mercantile is home to three distinct gallery spaces that celebrate regional art, creative expression, and community storytelling. Throughout the year, we host a dynamic rotation of exhibitions, installations, and events that reflect the seasons, local culture, and the diverse voices of our region.

Our primary exhibition space, The Anderson Gallery showcases a curated rotation of solo and group exhibitions by regional and guest artists.​​

Side Gallery Room
This intimate space offers a more experimental or whimsical setting for art installations, community displays, and featured collections. It also happens to be the home of our resident gallery cat, MercCheesy.

The Richter Room
A permanent exhibit honoring the life and work of Franz Richter, a beloved artist and community member. This space is open year-round and serves as a cornerstone of our gallery programming.
